Help!! I found another one!
Yeah, yeah... I know what you're thinking "Hey sleddin just buy a stinking Jeep"
Well I found another one. Not sure if I am heading in the right direction or not. Here's what the ad says... "I have a lifted wrangler. the body is solid no rust, with flush mount tail lights, full rollcage, blazer axles, flipped axles, strong and clean 350v8, new turbo 350 trans from advance, racing seats, b+m ratchet shifter, diamond plate rocker gaurds, foglights, front mount reese hitch, 3"body lift, rear tire rack, it has atleast 10" of lift. i had 42's on it but comes with 35-15,50's. too much to list. comes with a bunch of parts. it needs some steering work. alot of money was put into this and has alot of potential. i just want somthing different, many memories. it goes anywhere. may trade for sport quad, snowmachine, or street bike. $3200obo i have way more than that in it not counting labor. pics upon request" Here is a shot at some pics. http://c.im.craigslist.org/cL/0J/P314acOBAozHwTlnHxiiJpzmTqbF.jpg http://b.im.craigslist.org/gH/qb/s5Qf8H8sldVyo6UhJzJSxe6y35zQ.jpg http://d.im.craigslist.org/J5/NW/neiOeXIkVwU3dncVcyaoMum2Dqma.jpg I hope those worked. If this is someones Jeep let me know.

Honestly that looks/sounds like a huge money pit. It doesn't mention anything about what axles are under it, hopefully they aren't stock...
What exactly does needs steering work mean? Overall it sounds like you will stick what you paid for it, back into to it to make it driveable. I would pass on it.

Okay thats kinda what I was thinking. Just looking at EVERY YJ that is in my area and this happened to be one of them.
So the original green one I was looking at is still the best Jeep so far? The guy still has it. So I am wondering if I can talk his price down a good bit. Thanks |
