Help

I need some help over here.

I have an 87 YJ with a manual tranny in it. There were problems starting with the carb and I did a small adjustment on it because when I started to slow down it would stall out. Now it seems to have got worse, now when I put the clutch into first the jeep wants to keep on going forward and I am having a very hard time putting it in gear which started last night. It is getting hard to even put it in gear.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ron

For the carb problems you need to check out these links:

http://home.sprynet.com/~dale02/list.htm (Carb issues)

http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/ele...jn-ignition99/ (Nutter Bypass)

http://www.jeeptech.com/engine/carter.html (Venturi tube cleaning)

http://jeepcarterbbdcarb.com/kit.html (replacement Venturi tube, better than stock)

As far as the tranny goes, Welcome to the world of the POS Puegot BA 10/5 5speed. My first thoughts are, check/change your tranny fluid. Second, how is your clutch fluid?
