hello this is my first time posting im new the the forum, im 16 and have worked up to buy my first jeep shes a 87' yj 258 straight 6 with auto trans, 4 inch lift running 33s she has 175k miles and when i got her she was running and driving but lately shes been on the downs, it wouldnt start for about a month and i thought i was the carb so i ordered a new one 32 36 weber looks great and when i got it it ran good idled very low in rpms and very quiet, before it was not, but now i went to start it and it ran for about 30 seconds and i reved it alittle because the low idle scares me but then i let it idle and it just died, i started her up again it ran for like 3 seconds then shut off and now it wont run at all, any help is very help full

i have recently chanced fuel pump, fuel filters, new starter, has new carb, and new spark plugs

x2 check for fuel and spark. You put on a weber, what else has been done to it?

What carb was on it previously? Webers are great carbs but they are finicky so if you don't have lots of carb experience, it could take a bit of learning to get it to run properly.

I don't feel like working on anything at this time so i sold my yj.

It took me 15 minutes to get mine setup. I have not touched it since I wouldn't say they are finicky
