Hei install

So I'm still in the process of installing my hei, and tonight I was reading about hooking up my tach and battery to the hei?!! I though all I had to do was hook up a positive wire to it? I need to know every single last step to this install, I feel like everyday I see something new about it. Anyone?

It is easy peasy. Just give it 12Vdc and hook up tach wire and away you go.

It really is pretty easy, a switched 12v (a good solid 12v) and the tach wire that's already there.
