Heater Core
I was going to the vet yesterday and noticed what appeared to be smoke coming from the defroster vents ... Turns out that it wasn't smoke, it was steam. Windshield fogged up, etc. When I lifted the hood, you could hear water dripping and the sizzle of it hitting something hot. I have come to the conclusion that I need to replace the heater core, just from tracing everything and not finding anything else wrong. Problem is... can't get the darn thing out... Supposed to take the 2 bolts out that mount to the firewall, which I have done, but it won't budge. I know it doesn't come straight out, that you have to tilt it and slide it out, but I can't get it to tilt, etc. Like someone super glued the thing in there... Anyone else ever have this problem, have any suggestions, etc? Thanks much!

You rock! The Chilton book didn't have the screw under the battery... Didn't say anything about it... The thread helped and I found the 4th screw and everything came right out... Thanks much!!
