back latch pic

Here is what is left of the piece, note the left piece is missing, it essentially stops the latch from closing on the other side.

Is the inside flat to or dose it have a clip for the latch and good luck fabin.

I have the piece like that that came off a hardtop I scrapped to make a hard bikini top, but, it doesn't have a latch like that!! I think only the first couple of years had that latch. At least from '91 and up, they didn't have a latch, the tailgate held the glass closed.

I've seen all the hardware for the latch And the handle, basically a garage door locking handle, but nothing else. The back is flat but then when it over hangs the glass to make a seal on the tailgate it is angled. I think I've got all the pieces I need so I'll start taking some pictures.
