Hard Top Q's

I was getting a loud and annoying whistling from my roof, now figuring out that there is a seat that you need to get. I ordered the seal for it, but there was some kind of bracket in the pic that I wasn't sure if I needed... Nor did the parts guy. is there? I know there is a bracket that holds the hard top to the windshield, but is there another bracket that holds that seal in place?

Are you talkin' about the seal across the windshield?

I replaced mine with the factory one, cost me alot of money, but it didn't do me any good.

I visited CanadianTire, found some sticky-backed weather stripping that was 3/4" wide by 1" thick .. stuck it to my hardtop, had my missus lay on the windshield edge of the hardtop while I torqued down the bolts ..

No wind-noise since

I've been looking for a place I could get seals for my hardtop. I'll try to find some 3/4" weather strip from some hardware store.

Thanks

Quadratec sells a hardtop seal kit. I bought it last year and is worth the money.

Wind Noise

I have been having a helluva wind noise lately. Found out my full steel door seals are dry rotted. Im positive replacing them will do it. Let me know what you find.

Cheers.
