Half doors with soft uppers to full hard doors

So i got tired of waking up with a little bit of snow on the seat and floor and while driving into wind the doors are so loud they move all the time and loose a lot of heat... So i tried to out some hard doors on it and it their was a huge gap on the top where its rounded so i see people using full hard doors with a soft top all the time do i need a special frame or just a whole new top??

You need a bestop supertop or one of the frameless options with rounded corners, not sure if you have swapped in a family bar or not, I don't think any of them work with the pre-91 sport roll bars. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

The factory top doesn't work with full doors.

I wasn't contesting that but they make multiple tops, sounds like you have a factory replacement Bestop with squared corners, not their "Supertop" which has rounded (and completely different hardware).

I have to say that figuring out all the different tops and door options is a real pain...

Would be why they went to a standard opening with the TJs I'm sure.

That said there are really only 2 options. Rounded or squared. The half doors came factory with square uppers/top. The full doors came factory with a hardtop.

The aftermarket has expanded to give you options with both, rounded corner tops/soft uppers.
