Half doors

Does any one know what a metal YJ half door weighs.
I'm trying to work out the cost of shipping.
Thanks

About half of a full door....

Seriously though, I couldn't give you an exact weight, but I'd guess around 20-25 lbs a piece.

The best, cheapest shipping for large/ heavy things are Fedex Kinko's to Fedex Kinko's.
That is, have the sending party box up the item and drop off at a Fedex Kinko's location and have the recieving party pick up at another Fedex Kinko's location nearest them.

I partially disassembled a Yamaha YZ80, stuffed it in a big box and sent it to a friend across the country for less than a hundred bucks.

In the UK, The Color Company are FEDEX authorized ship centers.
Is there one near you?
Are you shipping international?

I was going to ship half doors once, they were a bit under 25 lbs.
A package of two would have been 50 lbs with packaging.

Well, finding half doors in the UK is like trying to find hens teeth.....
I'm trying to get a rough price for shipping over to the uk before I buy any.
I bought a set 2 years ago on eBay. Excellent pair and then the guy tried to charge me $1000 for shipping. I won them for $100.

$400 (USD) for regular FEDEX International.
It's approximate but close. About 4-5 days.
The FEDEX Kinko's to one of the The Color Company UK locations might be less.
I don't know anything about import duties (if any) or anything like that.

Also, when looking for doors here, check the "rust belt"
Jeeps rust out and are regularly sold for scrap or parted out making parts cheaper.

Places like here, desert, no rust. People keep them running unless they are smashed.
There are Jeep salvage places all over the midwest and east coast.

Thanks for the replies guys. I really want half doors. I had half canvas doors but the upper halves were a crap fit so I gave them to my friend for his YJ.
I'll just keep looking and I'll get a pair it even buy 1 at a time I don't mind.
Thanks
