I recently got a set of half doors and I'm looking to buy tj uppers ( to run with hardtop) and was wondering what your thoughts are on the best ones? I don't know what will work. appreciate the help
(1st set of half doors)

I found these, I assume you want TJ uppers because of the rounded corner. The YJ's are cheaper but have a sharp edge corner.

thanks I have looked around at rugged ridge and rampage uppers and was just wondering which one is better also is there any count to smitty built ?

yes Im looking for tj uppers for my yj so I can modify them for my hardtop

None of those companies have the greatest reputation, SB probably the worst, that said I think there are some things that are not so critical and the upper door frames fall into that category. All they are is bent and welded rods, and they don't take much abuse. I'd go with the least expensive.

Lookup "pavement ends" tj uppers on eBay. I run their tj uppers with my yj half doors and hardtop. They fit great and snug like.

I purchased a set of Mopar TJ uppers for my YJ (with hardtop) from Quadratec last month. They were on clearance for half price. Did the mods described elsewhere on this forum and I am pleased with the result.
Check the Quadratec web site under clearance. The last time I checked they were still listed.
