Had a minor fire now its hit or miss if she starts.

Had some aw4 tranny wires I weren't using fall onto the o2 sensor and started a small fire due to the plastic. Once I put it out the jeep would start for a minute or so and shut off, had to wait and she'd turn over again. I repeated this hour process until I got "home".

At first I thought it was the o2 sensor since that's where the fire was but after reading I find that it wouldn't cause this issue and try unplugging it to see if the attitude changed. It didn't.

Moved onto the CPS since they are tempermental with over heating and that it's only a few inches away from the 02 sensor, maybe I fried it.

Replaced it and ran it for about 5 minutes while I cleaned up the area. Jumped in and took off. 50 feet down the road she died. Same issue. Finally got it back out of the road. Turned it back on let it idle for a bit-no dying, moved it back and forth-no dying, gunned it forward and no dying. Put it in Park and she immediately died..

The issues never came up until the very small fire at the o2 sensor. Ran great..

Did the fire happen on the wires? Did the fire get into the actual harness? any melting? Are all the pins present?

Do you have any pics?

Could the flames have gotten to any higher points? I.e sensors at the TB?

I don't see any other issues caused by the fire. The wires were to the aw4 that weren't being used that I reckon I didn't secure. They fell on to the o2 sensor and the fire was very minor melting the plastic on the wires. The engine harness was unhurt.

It sounds like you are shorting out something. Does it start right up after it dies?

Nope. If I wait a few minutes it'll start right up. I could isolate the bare wires though from the aw4. I don't believe they're getting any power but could be a start.

But you have a few minutes. Good, check for fuel and spark.

She gets fuel. putting some fuel in the intake was a sure sign that I'm not getting spark. Before changing the cps I unplugged it after a no start and plugged it back in and she fired right up.

Im going to isolate those bare wires and see what happens.
