First thing is ditch the blue bulbs for some good quality clear bulbs. If not already done relay the lights. The bulbs alone will create a huge improvement.

jlspeaker.com has awesome led lights plug and play. I have the four light set up in my log truck and would not have anything else. Lifetime warrantied!

There is a article in the June issue of Mopar Action magazine on the Truck -lite LED's. They put them in an Xj (which I believe is the same sealed beam bulb as our yj's) seem pretty good, just from reading about them, a little pricey

This thread has kinda went to HID and LED but I installed the conversions tonight. I went with the rugged ridge kit

Driver side is the sealed beam passenger side is the H4

Wish I would have gotten better before pics didn't really think about it as far as an upgrade I don't think it could have gotten any easier and the results were night and day (sorry for the pun) I'm going to have to adjust the drivers side a little

Those kits will not improve nighttime driving at all. They create glare that affects other drivers and are not compatible with the optics in your housings. Only use proper halogen bulbs in halogen housings.

thanks, just very disapointed with the H4 kit , my original sylvania sealed beams had a much better pattern than the kit I purchased from Quadratec, feel bad throwing $100 away on junk

I bought 34 dollar auto pals off eBay and I love them. Could you post some photos of your install?

I have already pulled them, Maybe my expectations are to high, but the factory lights in my FJ are far brighter (or at least apear so due to smooth pattern) on low beam than the Deta H4s are on high beam. Will read back thru the thread, dont mind spending the money on qaulity lighting
