H1 box

i just did this swap on my buddy's scrambler, and i have to say. i'm pretty impressed. he had an AGR box on it already (supposedly, i didn't see any of AGR's normal aluminum pieces on it) and the H1 is so much nicer!

Contemplating doing this on the YJ. just curious. do the lines work with the H1 box?

Thanks guys!

it wasn't anything exciting. just 2 sweaty guys putting on a new steering box mount (cj) and replacing the box.

that's the jeep (prior to the new style mtr's and new 17" wheels being put on)

just to fill the pic void lol

I think Jeepsr was meaning a picture of the *box after install. There is no way we could say "Yeah it works in the YJ!" without seeing pics. Googling H1 boxes comes up with a great variety of boxes.

Since the Scrambler is just a variation on the CJ7 which the YJ is loosely based upon, I can't see why it wouldn't work. But then I don't have a Scrambler right handy to compare to. I should ask my local CJ guy. He knows everything there is to know about stock CJs and he drives a Scrambler as a winter beater. Now I'm curious as to how close the set ups are for the steering box.
