Greasing Polyurethane Bushings

Does anyone know what type of grease I should use on my polyurethane bushings ? I just bought a poly bushing kit for my YJ and am wondering if there's a special grease. Thanks for your help.

most kits come with a tube of grease. if not, I think the stuff is close to dielectric grease, or even syl-glide.

You want to use a silicone based grease. Petroleum based greases can/will eat the bushing and shorten it's life.

I thought petroleum-based grease ate rubber bushings, and not poly? At least that's the impression I was always under.

It's called polyurea grease and the only place you can get it around here is at a lawnmower store. I think it was a John Deer dealership.

Petroleum based grease will eat certian types of rubber and Urathane bushings. if you do a quick google search you will come up with a plethora of links to different kinds of "proper lube" for your bushings.
