Golen 4.6/4.7 Stroker?
I am looking to purchase or have someone build a 4.6/4.7 stroker for my 93 YJ. (Daily driver, 35" MTs, 6" lift, super 30/35 kits, 4.56 gearing, etc...) Golen is recommended by Quadratec and it puts out about 260hp. Has anyone dealt with one of their motors and how are they?
Second option is rebuild and stroke an engine that I already have. Considering that I do not have the time or experience in doing this, where is the best place to have this done? Or should I just purchase one already built to avoid the hassle? Thanks in advance. Pictures coming soon... Dwayne

I would talk to your local engine shops to see if any of them have done this before.
It is not that difficult and there are a few good write ups on the subject. Not having thime or experience really limits you options though. I just feel that what they are charging for an engine is quite high, I built mine for $1500. also Dwayne
