gears?

I have an 89 YJ. I was told it has the Puegot tranny. I think it has 3:07 gears (not sure though) I have 33" tires and I do a lot of driving int he mountains, and especially on a windy day, my Jeep feels more like a parachute. What would be a good gear set up? I need gears that aren't drastically different, cuz a lot of my driving is at high speeds.

For 33's I would go for the 4.56's.
This is a all around great gear and you still have room to go up to 35's in the future.

do you have a 6 or a 4? 4.56 sounds a bit extreme....I would go 4.10....

I ran 4.10s with 31s, 32s and 33s. I liked that ratio with the 31s and the 32s. I wished I had 4.56s when I ran the 33s.

thanks for the info... will those gearings let me still rev at a decent rpm at around 75? my Jeep doesn't like revving over 3,000 (4.2 that could use a rebuild)
