What the gear ratio for an 88 Sahara, with the stock gear box (Peugeot piece of s...).

And is it ok to put 31/10.5r15 with everything stock, except for a cheap a.. lift.

Since you've got the 4.2, your ratio should be 3.07s in the diffs

Well yes its safe, your going to lose a little power, but not much since your only going up a little in tire size. You might think about how they are going to fit though. I'm assuming you don't have any lift?? If so they should fit, but they are going to rub, you might want to look into a small lift.
