gauge cluster and electric fan not working???

After i wired up a set of lightforce lights the other day i noticed today that my electric fan was not coming on with the ignition like it had been. i checked all the fuses both in the jeep and under the hood. i had pulled the one bad (dome light) fuse i found out and started off to the parts store for some fuses and then noticed that none of my gauges were working. i replaced the bad fuse and still no fan or workin gauges. even the lights on the gages are not workin. my buddy did arc a power wire for a split second during the light install. i thought that would have just blown a fuse though. oh i didnt mention the jeep still starts fine just no fan and no working gauge cluster. any suggestions of what to do next?
