Gas Gauge isn't working and Tripometer isn't either

I really need one of the two to work to gauge my gas...so any idea how I can fix them?

The Tripometer barely works...doesn't work all the time.

The Gas Gauge never reads below 3/4 a tank. When I fill up it goes past FULL. It barealy goes below a Full tank after driving.

same problem with my gas gauge....more then likely the sender unit inside the tank is bad. i havnt found the time to replace mine.

if i were you i would be SCREWED. i use the trip meter to know how much gas i have left.
does the speedometer work right?
if it does more than likely its the internals in the gauge. may be full of dust and grime. id go the brave route and bust her open and try cleaning it out. if not youre gonna be swapping out guages too.

until then i guess we'll be seeing you at the gas station.

I'd fix the trip odo by swapping the guage out with one from a junk yard. Or maybe disassemble it first to see if you can fix this one. I'm a putzer though, tend to dig as deep as I can to save a buck.
