Loosen the hinge bolts on the door hinges and it should move around where you can adjust it, then tighten the bolts back up. Be careful as they are the $%^# torx bolts and they strip easily.

There are soft tops made to fit the full hard doors and soft tops made to fit the half doors. It seems you have a soft top that is made to fit the half doors so adjusting the doors like mentioned above is pointless.

ill try to adjust the hinge, but the gaps on both sides of the door look the same. only between the top of the door frame and the windshield frame have a gap, i can fit my fingers through it . and to the above post even if i put on the hard top there will still be a gap.

You can also (at least on CJ's) adjust the angle of the windshield frame by loosening the bolts holding the bracket onto the bottom of the windshield (where there is a knob on CJ's for lowering the windshield. I'd do this AND the hinges on the door and you should be able to come up with somthing acceptable (you will probably have to move your striker pin if you move the door around on the hinges much).

Doubt the windsheild thing would work. I think all YJ's have sportbars so you'd have to take them off to get any windsheild movement. It's that the soft top wasn't made for the full doors. Stuff usually tends to line up pretty well on YJ's. Later <><
