I have gone wheeling twice with my 1990 yj (4.2 auto) and i have blow the fuse to my gauges both times. Anyone know what the problem could be? On road its fine.

Check your wiring for shorts behind the dash.

For those who have not figured this out I'm old school but can handle the new too.

I would just pull the gauges out and look there. You can see if the flim circuit board might be shorting out. And follow most of the wiring from there. Pulling the dash out would be a little hard to me.
