I don't know of any that are even manufactured. Genright sells different tanks that bolt in the factory location but I just looked and the biggest one is only 20 gals. I just got their universal fuel cell that will mount behind the rear seat and it is 23 gallons. Why do want so large of a tank?

With losing the rear space behind the rear jump seat, you could install a second reserve tank. You would need to configure it inline with your original and work out the switching mechanism - I'm sure there are off-the-shelf parts for setting up a reserve tank like the full sized trucks sometimes have. If you've done the 20 gal tank mod, and add a 20 gal reserve tank, you could have the combined 40 gallons you want.

Question is: Who could drive a YJ for 600+ Miles without needing to stop to clear their head and stretch out their back?

Once I install my 23 gallon cell I should be able to get well over 500 miles on a tank.

i've seen pre-runner looking type of jeeps with gas tanks that extend beyond the rear crossmember.

There used to be a CJ tank that was 30 gal. It did not have a skid pan under it, but was very heavy gauge steel. IIRC, it had just a slight decrease in ground clearance when installed.

It would fit a YJ with a 4.2 engine, probably not one with fuel injection.
