Now I would take pictures of everything so you have some reference photos then it is time for some major organization. Find out what is needed, get rid of what isn't, and re-bundle the wiring so it looks decent.
step one... hahaha, that was a HUGE step...
There is a lot of unneeded wiring,
I'll be getting into it soon,
i'll be finishing my front axle the rest of this weekend,
once it's under the jeep I'll start on the whole clean up.
and definitely I'll have a ton of pictures.

Document what you found that was done wrong, and what you did to make it work. There is no such thing as too much information or pictures. What you learn becomes information you may want to pass on to another JF member who goes the 5.0 swap route.

Keep us updated!

keep your eyes out,
I'll start a thread soon enough,
maybe next weekend while I'm on vacation.
I'll try to cover the goods and bads of an engine swap,
and give some key pointers on how to do it the right way

haha, and right now, I would steer members away from the 5.0 swap,
but maybe in my experiences i will learn the good parts. :P
