fuel pump maybe???

I just recently started having problems with my 88 YJ 2.5L TBI. It will not run after the tank gets down to 3/4 of a tank. It runs fine if I keep the tank full, but when the tank and gauge drops to 3/4 of a tank it starts to sputter and die like I am not getting fuel. I fill it back up to full and it will run fine.

I have pulled my sending unit because I figured there may be a hole in the line somewhere and it is sucking air. It checked out good. Now I am thinking it may just be the fuel pump.

I replaced the original pump with a bosch (OEM I think) back in 2012. Now I am thinking about replacing it with MTS if this is my problem.

Any Ideas or opinions on the switch to an aftermarket pump??? I know Mean Max is going to say go with the MTS.

I pulled the fuel sending unit and there is definitely over 1/2 a tank. My gauge has always been pretty close to right for a YJ. Tank is 11 inches deep and it measures about 8 inches of fuel in it. I have a tank access panel so it doesn't take as long to do this since I don't have to drop the tank.
