Fuel Leak, need advice!

I have a 1993 jeep wrangler YJ. Its leaking (more like spraying) out of the hose that goes into the metal barb that goes through the fuel filter. its in between the frame and the tub and my body mounts are pretty rusty so i dont think changing the whole line is going to be very easy. Ive heard there are ways to splice the hose. does anyone know how? what size is that hose? any help would be awesome. If its not clear which hose i am talking about email me at mikeshinert@yahoo.com and i will email you pics. Thanks

I don't know what size the hose is 100%, but I suspect 3/8'. The fuel line should be stainless, so I suspect it's the fuel filter that's rotted out. Perhaps grab a fuel filter and try replacing that first. Ask the counter man for new clamps.

Hm, kinda poopy picture. That's the line that feeds from the sending unit to the stainless lines. The fuel filter is father up from that, in front of the axle, left side of Jeep. Unless someones added a second filter there.... then who knows.

If you can get a clearer picture I could see more, but it looks like you have enough slack in the rubber hose to remove, cut and install with new clamp if needed.
