fuel injected jeeps-what year?

What year did Wranglers get fuel injection? I'm looking for my first jeep and don't want a carb. Thanks.

Depends on if you are asking 4 cyl or 6 cyl.

87 was the first year for EFI on the 4 bangers.... 87 to 90 was TBI fuel injection. If you are looking for EFI you are better off narrowing your search to 91-95 which had multi port fuel injection. The 4.0L's came fuel injected starting in 91.
94 YJ w/ stuff. All the work/money I put into it, and the comment I get most is my $20 mod: "Hand throttle?!? That's awesome."
