Fuel Bypass Regulator vs. Replacement Fuel Pump
So I've been trying to find a solution to my fuel rail problem for the past couple of weeks with no success. My problem is that I have a 4.0 out of a ZJ which had the regulated fuel pump, so my fuel rail only has a delivery port. My stock set-up was the unregulated pump feeding a fuel rail with the delivery and return ports.
I have been looking everywhere for the fuel rail I need but no one has them (or they have working engines and dont want to remove the fuel rails, which I don't blame them for). A friend of mine recommended using a bypass regulator, in this case a Trick Flow Specialties (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-27001/?image=large) to send the required PSI to the fuel rail and return the rest to my tank, which would be a fairly easy install (I think) seeing as how I already have the delivery and return lines running up my frame to the firewall. Should I go ahead and do this or would it be better to swap out the fuel pump for a regulated one? I'd rather not have to drop the fuel tank or attempt to find the right fuel pump for my situation...

Yeah that was my first choice but it's a little hard to find a fuel rail (read my original post), especially one for an early 90's 4.0. I've been looking for the past two weeks and I haven't found one yet.
