Front Wheel Toed Out Bad
Is this just an alignment or something I can adjust myself.

there is nothing adjustable in the front end for an alignment, except the toe in. Easy to do.
There was a great write up posted just recently but I can't find it right now. Maybe someone else will link to it. In any case it's about a 15 minute job, including looking for tools. Actually caster can be adjusted too, with shims, but no alignment shop would do that. Also, check the ball joints and tie rod ends. If the wheels are suddenly out of whack thats a good place to look and the parts are not very expensive.

Not the one I was thinking of but that is good info too.
key tips Only jack enough so the tires clear the ground support under the axle, rather than the frame. be on level ground. the width is not important, just the front the back difference. measure as close to the verticla center line as possible.
