It goes in that barrel you wheel out to the street once a week.

why would you bother to put a worthless piece of metal that serves no purpose on a leaf sprung vehicle?

If you search up some track bar threads, I'm sure you could find some pics of where the track bar mounts. However, I agree that you should just leave them out.

If you have a SOA I do not believe that you can use the stock track bar. You will have to buy or devise your own. I had a YJ that the OP used adjustable stabilizer bars welded onto the axle. The bars were purchased at Tractor Supply. This was on a SOA Yj.

Go to www.tractorsupply.com and search adjustable stabilizer bars.

Or try clicking here and go to the middle of the page.http://tsc.tractorsupply.com/search#...zer?apelog=yes

I hope this helped.

like i said before, everyone has their own preferences and opinions. i personally like having the track bar on there cuz thats just me. what i need it a good picture or description of where the mounting bracket used to be. i searched through a lot of threads but haven't been able to find a clear picture or idea. i know i could just weld it in anywhere but i would like to put in the general area of where it was.

You don't get it, do you?

You can stick the trackbar anywhere you like because its going to hinder the suspension cycling just the same in every place you put it. You have a spring over lift and if you did your research correctly you would know this.

Yeah I get what your saying, but are you listening to what I'm sayin?

I'm not looking for a suspension education session here, or i would have asked if i should use it or not and why. I appreciate your advise on not using the track bar but that's not the reason I put this post up. I was only looking for someone to offer some input on where the bracket was located, not if it should have been there in the first place.

hahn406,
If you look at the axle disconnect, there is a bracket on the front of the axle were the tracbar attaches, right above the steering stabilizer. Bolt on eye of your tracbar to this bracket, now you want your tracbar to be the same angle as your draglink from the steering box to the right side of the axle. You will need to fab a bracket since the tracbar will be to short with a SOA.
I know you like the tracbar, but after replacing all of your fillings, chard loose by the rough ride you most likely will remove it.

Like I said, you can put it anywhere and its going to do the same thing in any place you stick it. It's like a blindfold and a dartboard. Anywhere is good.

I have a feeling a "My jeep won't flex well" thread is on it's way.

Those are gonna have to be a big bracket extension to make it work close to the way intended.
