Front Leafs

How much clearance is there supposed to be from the rubber piece on the frame, and the springs? Right now it is only a about 1.5 inches and it seems to me there should be more suspension travel than that.

I could have weak springs... if they are weak, I might as well do an upgrade right?

Yep need more info. We have no idea if you have stock suspension or not. There really isn't any set distance between the bumpstop and axle because not every suspension settles the same. Judging from that measurement though I'd say you have stock springs but it's just a guess.

I am concerned that my leaf springs are worn out due to the lack of clearance. I am interested to know if 1.5 inches is enough suspension travel for a stock setup.

YJ's are pretty much all like that with the original springs. I say replace them with some 2.5" springs but that's me.
