I am not sure but you can go online to any of the parts places and see if they have the same part number.

It has been a slow process, but with my friends out and about on their YJ's, I get motivated

The 2.5L fuel lines will be too short for the 4.0L fuel rail. When I swapped my 2.5L for the current 4.0L I had to use a Fuel injector line repair kit that allowed me to splice into the original 2.5L lines which then allowed the extra length needed to reach the 4.0L fuel rail connections. The fuel rail connections on the 4.0L are two cylinders further forward of where they are on the 2.5L.

Well if need be, the 2.5L lines can be made to work if you can't find the 4.0L lines, just that you would have to splice in the repair kit to lengthen them. Just trying to give you all options available. If IIRC, the cost for such a kit was around $20 bucks. Just don't remember if that was per line or covered both. Most auto part stores carry these kits. It is kind of a B to splice into the nylon lines, but is doable if you can't source the proper 4.0L lines.

I did not remove head, after seeing how clean/ sludge free engine looked after removing valve cover and oil pan.

I still need a few odds and ends, oil pressure sending unit & dip stick tube ( i bent it )

still have to get transmission looked at. also need a 23 spline 231

You can swap the input shaft in your current 231 to the 23 spline if you can find an input shaft for the right price. It would probably be alot cheaper than getting another 231.

1995 YJ. 2 inch BDS Spring lift. 1 inch shackle lift. 1.25 inch JKS Body Lift 33x12.5x15's. Engo 10,000 pound winch.

If you change tranny from manual to auto or vice versa, your ecm MAY need to be changed / played with to bypass a neutral safety switch...just a thought,,

I have ECM from donor rig.

I have a 21 spline, but it needs rebuilding. Hopefully I can find a shaft fairly cheap.

I finally unbolted everything off the 4.2 so hopefully tomorrow I can pull it out. I have to then sand and paint the engine bay before 4.0 goes in..

One question, what do I. Need to save from 4.2, ba10 or NP 207 that need to go to my 4.0, Tf999 swap?

I would like to sell 4.2, ba10 & np207. I need the money to pick up odds and ends that I know I will run into with this swap.

Any thoughts on which oil cooler to use with my OEM radiator?
I'm looking for ease of installment/placement
