If you are doing the auto then the slave doesn't matter. Look up the tj axle swap or cad.

Totally agree with this statement.

If it fails compression pull of the head, check for scoring or bad valves and then buy parts if the motor is salvageable.

Oil pan gasket replacement
rear main seal replacement
timing chain & gears replacement

It would be killing me to have an engine on a stand in my shop and all of those new parts just sitting there waiting to be installed...she would have been completely torn down and rebuilt. Que is right on the money as far as necessity goes but you are soooo close to a complete build it would be hard for me to resist.

I was putting on valve cover and broke the head off a bolt... I wanted to throw up and kick the engine to the floor...

I am missing a fuel lines for my 4.0 swap, I found a complete 4cyl FI sytem on craigslist for 50.00.

Will those lines work for me?
