Four wheel low range wont work

Boy is back from Cali, should have checked for this sooner.

Just put in a 4 inch Rubicon lift kit and bigger tires, had some shifting problems, but thanks to this forum that is resolved.

The jeep will not shift into 4 wheel low range, I am sure it has everything to do with the lift kit, I never checked to see if it worked after the install.

What is the fix or solution to getting it to shift into 4 wheel low?

V/R

If you stick your head up in there, you should be able to see the shift linkage and the adjusting block. Just slide the block till you get it to pop in 4LO

Also check the linkage bushing... they can wear out and cause binding.

that's from factory a/c, mounts under the dash

as for the linkage, easy adjustment and that's almost certainly the trouble but unless you did a body lift should not have been affected.

TC drop has caused some people problems.

Yeah, its the factory air. Up until the TJ came out, A/C was an add on kit that hangs under the dash in a stand alone system. You can still buy a complete system new from the manufacturer.
