ford 8.8

I recently got my 8.8 and began installing it. I wanted 4.10 gears and the junkyard told me that they were. I thought they didnt make 4.10 gears in the 95 model explorer. How can i tell. I turned the pinion and it only took two turns to turn the rotor once. I dont understand, maybe i am missing something. Help! Thanks in advance.

If you look on the differential cover, there should be a tag that will tell you if it has 4.10's.. if its a sport, I believe they came with 4.10s in most of them.
