Folding Soft Top

Is it ok to fold down my soft top with all the windows still in (rear window and side windows)? It's a big hassle to take out the windows and put them back in all the time.

I used to just leave my side windows attached, throw them over the top and fold everything down together...worked fine for me...

If you don't take the windows out the top won't fold as flat and also you run a risk of scratching up the windows. If you don't mind either of those two problems go for it. Personally I take out the side windows and roll the back window up.

No reason why ou can't (obviously). The catch is, that if it spends a long time folded up, the places where the plastic is folded/creased could become "permanent" disfigurations when UNfolded. And the constant vibration/rubbing against the rest of the top, when folded, will leave marks on the plastic.... eventually affecting clarity

Personally, I like the convenience of leaving it together, so I'll just budget a few hundred $$ for new windows every few years if it gets too bad.

It was nice out yesterday so I said "screw it" and took the top off and put on my safari top. Thanks for the opinions and info though.

Sunny California!!! We've been having really nice weather this week so far. I think the lows were in the 40s or 50s. Just need a sweatshirt in the morning but after about 9 or 10 AM it's real nice to drive. Supposed to have rain this weekend though so I guess I better put the top back on.
