FNG from the SF Bay Area

Hi all, just ran across the site registered.

I'm in the SF Bay area and own a Grand Cherokee and a Wrangler.

The GC is your basic grocery getter but the YJ has a few mods on her.

Haven't wheeled this summer but looking to get down to Hollister Hills one of these weekends to spin the front diff.

Just thought I'd check in here on the YJ Board

Cool Site!

Welcome aboard!!

There is a wealth of info here and some great people to get to know. Give us some more details about you Jeeps (years, engines, upgrades, etc)

Feel free to private message me or post any questions and someone will help you

Thanks for the welcome Kev

The GC is stock except for a Flowmaster...got rear ended and the stock pipes were double the cost. Best excuse I've ever had to upgrade a part!

The YJ is a 92 4.0 liter
4.5 Rubicon Express SU lift
33x12.50 BFG MT's
60 rear 44 front both reverse cut
ARB
Atlas II
4 wheel disc brakes
full cage
shackel reversal
disconnects

And some other stuff too. It's my pride and joy but I don't get on the trails as often as I'd like ... family stuff always seems to take priority. I would like to find some SF Bay Area folks to wheel with...one of these days

Especially if the insurance is paying!

Impressive, be sure to post some pics in the registry section if you've got'em!

Very nice, thanks!! Did you do a mod to your windshield wipers? Yours are almost laying down like a TJ; mine stick up halfway on the windshield.

No Kev, they've been that way since I bought it. I never think about them actually...glad you brought them up though, I need to change the blades.

And thanks for the nice words!

Welcome to the Board!! There's a thread in the Wheeling Neighborhood section for Bay Area folks. One guy there goes to Hollister Hills all the time you might want to check in.

Thanks D...I saw wheelermans post but don't know exactly when I'd be able to go. I'll drop him a line when I do though.
