flatfindered yj inter finderwell
 
when you flat finder a yj what do you don about the inter finderwells where you cut through the tack weld? it will leave a gap so what do you do about this? need help fast. thanks:confused:

I had to bend up a piece of sheet metal when I did my CJ. I bent up a piece that fit like I needed it to and then pop riveted it in. The flares cover the rivets on the outside of the fender and you can paint or undercoat the rivets in the fender well.

When I did mine I cut out all the tack welds to. I only have about a 1/4 inch or less of sheet metal sticking out of the rear of the opening. I filled the gap with black silicone. It has been that way for well over a year. No problems so far. I also painted my wheel wells black. It looks good on a white Jeep.
