FINALLY...pics of my 5.7zz4 - SM465 - NP231 drive train

Well I have been working on this every spare hour I had for weeks and things are finally starting to come together.
  • Brand new ZZ4 350 Hedman headers
  • Totally rebuilt SM465 tranny
  • Totally rebuilt NP231 SYE

I am going to take a little break before starting to pull my 258-ba10/5 combo. The wifey is starting to get a lil pissed at all the time I am spending in the garage.

I can't hardly wait to fire this thing up and go for a drive, sigh.....not today.

Doesn't seem like a bad compromise .

Looks good man. Can't wait to see the installed pics.

My wife wants me to get the jeep done already.

NICE man!! I'm jealous of your 465. I was going to go this route but the 4.88's would kill me on the freeway.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I will do kind of a mini write up of pics as the install progresses. This is my first time doing anything like this. I don't have anyone to help me with this, the only help I have is the peeps on this forum (thanks all). I have learned TONS so far just building this train. I had to do some of the things over 2 and 3 times because I didn't get it right the first time. The most important thing is to not get discouraged (take a break)....beware of those words "aww heck....that's good enough". It MUST be right! I do have the luxury of this jeep not being my daily driver though and that makes a world of difference.

I just can't say enough how grateful I am for this forum and the people on it. I honestly doubt I could have or would have ever attempted doing something like this jeep build if it were not for the immense amount of knowledge and skill on this site.

Again thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge!
