Figured out clunking under front end

I posted a thread a couple of months ago about a clunking under my front end. Alot of folks replied they had the same problem and couldn't find. I finally found mine!!! It was the hood. It sounded like it was coming from under/behind the firewall but it was a little slack in the hood hinges. I put a small piece of rubber trim under the back edges of the hood so it seals tight when shut and problem is solved. Before I could very slightly shift the hood from side to side when shut but no more!!!! and no more CLUNK!!! Hope this helps somebody else too!!
