that is awesome! sweet build you have there, i was thinking of doing a turbo disel out of a 2wd comanchee but havent found one. so what did you end up with for HP and tq totals?

Im looking to do one on a 4 banger! Rounding up parts!!! New to forum been reading it for a month love it! I should fit right in! I will upload my pics asap want to finish my body work kinda hard cause i cant stop driving it!!

I have a turbo out of a early 90 mercedes diesel sitting on the shelf in my garage. Does anyone know what the compression of a stock 4.0 is? I was going to put it on my 196 4cyl scout but it looks about the same size as that one. Hmmm.

90 YJ 102 in wb stretch, SOA, dana 60, 14 bolt welded,4.56s, 37in Parnelli jones dirt grips, currie twin stick dana 300, york oba, tractor link traction bar, full custom armor,poison spyder tube fenders, 95Cherokee High Output 4.0
2014 JKU, modified Rubicon Rails, RC stubby with warn 8000m, 2" leveling springs and OME trim spacers, Superchips Flashcal, Spidertrax wheel spacers, rubi shocks, and Lots more mods soon!!!

Definitely not-
I run 9.2:1 in my turbo bike no IC only C16 and H2OInjection

Yes, the comp ratio is pretty good, but I hear the stock cast pistons are only capable of about 7-8psi before they start melting

Forged pistons would be sick, but require a little more then "bolt-on"

no I did not use an intercooler. space is tight and an IC will not to anything on the trail. I will be running a water/meth injection setup. that ws when I do go into boost I know I will have a nice cold dense charge
