Keep an eye on the for sale forum for someone to part a YJ out.

Family bar.....black.....no rust.....padding is faded but zippers still work......there are a couple of 3/16" screw holes though the padding and the windshield extensions from a 2-piece hardtop that used to be on it. 2 minutes with a welder and a grinder before paint matching would make them disappear, but would be hidden under padding anyway.

Ideally, I'm looking for a zero-rust sport bar in black with light grey padding. I'll go for anything without rust though.

I'm not really in a hurry to do this because my parents aren't exactly enthusiastic about the idea of swapping the bar out for cosmetic purposes. I've been waiting for somebody to say "Hey, I'll come to your house and help you remove those bolts and we can trade." The possibility of arranging shipping or me transporting bars is zero.

I'll throw in a new black Bestop bikini top too .

Because the kids don't get their heads smashed in when you roll, thus preserving the family.

The real reason is that they have seat belt supports for the rear. You know.......the kind where it is not just a lap belt but it goes across your sholder just like the front seat. The sport bars had no place for them to hook up to and in i believe 92 it became a law that the rear riders must have a full seat belt. Just for fun try and take some of the bolts out. If you are on the fence about the swap I'm guessing you will not proceed. Just a simple mans thinking.
