Extremely hard to steer

I have a lifted 90 YJ and I know that bump steer and wonder drive are problems with lifted Jeeps, but my Jeep can just jump off to the left or right at times and it's very scarry when in tight traffic.

Oh, and my tires were recently balanced again....

Any thoughts/recommendations?

theres a monkey on ur pitman arm.

-- probably low steering fluid (hard to turn)
-- and bad stabilizer considering its a 90'

Mine did that real bad a few weeks ago. I would be driving and it would just wander on over into oncoming, but when I’d turn the wheel it wouldn’t shift back over at first and then after a few seconds it would just snap back over towards the ditch. Real scary stuff. I took a look near the hubs, checking for bad baljoints or tie rods and I noticed that the hub bolts that whole the axle inners and wheels on my rig were so loose I could undo them with my fingers!! When I installed my locker I put never-seize on those bolts so if I ever had to change a ujoint it would be nice and easy (damn rust) and torqued them down. Well I guess after a few months of hard wheeling they came loose. I’d jack up the front end and grab the tires and see if they have any slop or play in them indicating a bad\loose hub or balljoint\tie rod etc.

That's really scary! Glad you didn't get hurt! I use never seize on everything ( I think it was designed for jeeps!), for the same reason to r/r parts that are consumable. Thanks for the heads up.

Lifted, locked, and loaded with beer (Disclaimer: This doesn't mean said driver endorses drinking and driving, please enjoy alcohol responsibly and do not operate any vehicle of any kind, thank you....) Thanks to the price of gas here ($4.25 a gal) I just bought a mountain bike, 0" of lift, 0" of travel, MT's, locked rear axle, oh yeah, it's the sh#$.
