I already had the sye installed with the D35. The driveshaft was at 15* for that setup, the pinion was at 13*, for axle wrap, as per Arizona's diagram. Goob is right, there will be some axle wrap on acceleration.
Have someone stand on the brakes and slowly give it some gas while you watch the rear springs. You'll see all you need to.
I used 15* as a rough starting point for the new 8.8, put it under the Jeep with the U Bolts snug and set the Jeep back down on all fours. Protracted and adjusted from there.

Do the SYE first. Adjust the perches to get the proper geometry, ie. 1-2* below the SYE output and burn em in.
As to the sensor, i just reinstalled it with some RTV insurance.
