i did all new exhaust, manifold to tail pipe tip new, so i come to the end and can't decide how i should hang the tail pipe

rear hanger off the tub for the tail pipe, i ripped the strap or whatever off last fall when the jeep was disassembled, but i have the metal straight piece off the tub still

i'm sure some of you guys have come to this, how'd you hang it

For the rearmost mount on my '91 4.0L I bought all new factory hanger parts, including the rubber isolator from the stealership for aroud $20, IIRC.

I bought the rear rubber hanger from autozone for a few dollars. It looked identical to the one I pulled off that had ripped and works perfectly. Just another option.

It was universal because it was out on the sales floor with all the other exhaust stuff. It looked identical to the one I pulled off which could have been replaced by the previous owner. It does fit nicely and I've had no problems with rubbing or anything. It was circular on both ends kind of oval shaped. I can get a picture later today if you want.
