Everyone has a newbie/repeat question from time to time. Not worth a banning honestly.

Bumping the thread to make the comment could get you banned though

Make room and delete the FAQ thread, nobody reads that anyway.

No track or sway bars here. The only time i can tell that they are not there is when I'm in a curve and have to brake suddenly. The back gets a lil wobbly when this happens. other than that cant tell a difference as far as highway driving. Got a lot more flex off road

Rusty, we need a Link sticky... Commonly asked questions sticky. Then just post an index to all of links to the most asked questions , like the mod link thing. It does get old rehashing the same old stuff. The trouble is the titles don't end up being the topic of the thread.
Rename this thread "Everything you need to know about removing track bars or swaybar" for example.
I made up a post like that a few years ago in a RC car forum. It made repetitive questions a simple link to the index. Just a thought.
Oh btw my jeep is 20#'s lighter with the swaybar and disco's in my brown trash can. I need to get a pic like Joe's... the blue can is getting old!

Both of my tracbars/panhard bars, the front swaybar and it's links, and also the steering stabilizer have been completely removed for ~11 years on my POS YJ with zero ill effects.

You, or somebody else can buy mine if you wish - but I'll first have to clean off alot of dust & take then out of my trash can.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling deeply ill, I miss my poor old tracbars & swaybar. Whenever I do, I simply pull them from the depths of my blue trash can & place them on a silver platter and toss them a little beer party.

I second that

but mine havent had the party yet. Maybe for their 1 year annaversary of being off the jeep, its coming up very soon

Working out something similar. It is just going to take some time for me to get it worked out. I do all of this work most of the time while feeding a baby in my lap LOL.

Someone asked about 2 inch lift shackels and no sway or track bars. That is (unfortunetly) how I am currently running (saving for lift springs)

I do not like the bump steer, it takes some getting used to, as long as you dont mind constantly driving your jeep (no cruising, you better be holding onto the wheel pretty good) as almost every bump will affect your steering. BUT, this is due to the lift shackles and the caster being off NOT sway bar track bar, IMHO. I ran my jeep with track and sway bars and 2 inch lift shackels and did not notice any more steering issues when the track and sway bars where removed, it still steers like Cr@p. However there is more body lean, but I am used to that now and it doesn't bother me a bit. And yes, I do drive my jeep on the road like this and it has never been a problem (about 150 miles a week)

Hope that helps
