Engine for '93 AX-5 YJ

The 2.5 L engine in my 93 wrangler went out, so I pulled the engine. Now is time to buy a new engine, but being a broke highschooler wanted to get his jeep running, I wont be able to do a 4.0 swap.
So Im looking for a 2.5 to put in, and I found a 2.5 L from a Comanche.
The shop its at is closed today, but would that be an acceptable swap?

My main concern was if the harnesses, motor mounts, and transmission connections would be the same with the Comanches engine? The post says its for a 91-95 Comanche.
Thanks!

Since The Comanche stopped production in 1992, I would be leery of any info from the seller. If its got port fuel injection, it will have the best chance of being compatible. Most likely you will have to strip it down to the long block and transfer all your intake and accessories. Be careful about buying used engines here in the valley unless you hear it run.

So easy to swap the intake over, and you benefit from a new intake / exhaust gasket too.

Thank you, I probably wont take the engine anyways. I called today and its not in the state, so Id have to pay for freight down here so its too much.
Thanks for the info anyways!
