How do I know if my 6 cyl is a 4.0? Is there 2 sizes of 6'S? My jeep was a 4 and the prevous owner put in a 6. I need a exhaust manifold.

Count the number of valve cover bolts. 15=4.0L Less=4.2L head

And,Is the oil pressure port close to the bell housing(4.2L)? Or coming off the distributor boss(4.0L)?

The 4.2 has a gas pump in front of the distributor, the 4.0 has a blank space and a pump in the gas tank.
