electronic speedo?

So my jeep has a mechanical speedo but I've been contemplating both fuel injection and a SYE kit and JB's short SYE has no mechanical provision. How do I convert my speedo to electrical? Do i get a new speedo and tach from a 1991+??
Thanks,
Tas

A late YJ electric sending unit mounts in the same t-case hole. It uses three wires, +12 from Ign, Ground, and the signal out. The sig out would go to the sig in on the newer YJ dash. The original + voltage on a newer YJ came from the computer as +8v I think, but when I did my swap I just used +12. It's been fine since '04.
