Electric speedo

I've got my new engine installed with transmission and transfer case bolted up (350/TH350/NP231) and my drive shaft is about 3 inches short. No big deal since I'm in the process of ordering my Frankenstein 4" lift parts and wanted to do a SYE/CV shaft anyhow. Dilemma is that I would like to use the Novak short shaft SYE but with my YJ being a 90 with mechanical speedo cable and their kit and all the super short kits using electric speedo sensors. What are my options? I'll use a standard SYE before I put after market gauges in. Can a newer cluster be used?

Covert it using a VDO gauge. There is a lot of info on it. Use this google search method and you will get the info:

You don't want to swap clusters. Its a wiring mess. You can definitely use a VDO gauge. I think its 3 wires and should fit good.
