Electric heater?

Anyone know where I can get a good electric heater (as in does NOT run off the stock heating system, as I don't know how to plumb)? My current heater works, but only the defroster blows air... Otherwise- is there an easy fix for the vent blower? I'm pretty good with the motor aspect of jeeps, but still learning electric and other systems as far as jeeps go.

Thanks for the help!
Matt

reach under the dash and push the half-circle metal thingy with the cable on it UP all the way... it's just about int he center, under the dash, above the hump in the floorboard... that redirects the air from the defroster to the floor.

Get under the dash and follow the control cable from the mode lever (the one that switches from defrost to floor. See if it is disconected or broken. That should fix the problem....

And the electric heaters that run on 12v won't blow much heat, trust me. If you are looking for more heat, then your gonna have to get another heater box, like the moab heater

or you can remove all the screws that keep the shift boot sealed to the tub. i get a ton of heat out of mine when i pull it up :)

x2 on the 12 volt heaters, last year my heat was blowing cold, decided to quick fix and buy a 12 volt coleman ceramic heater, just not enough power to do anything remotely substantial. Got a reverse flush done to the heater core and that solved my problem, lots of heat now.
